Disappointed about Google Talk

First of all, Google is great - I really admire them!

Today, they officially announced Google Talk. They were rumours about something like that for month and it sounded very plausible to do. Yesterday, the rumours became more and more solid and here it is ...

But looking at the features I was completely disappointed: This is all standard stuff no sign of a smart Google twist to it at all and here are some great ideas to do that:

Integrate other of your services

• Show location of chat partners in Google Maps and Google Earth
  
• What about Hello and Picasa? - Pictures are always something to share and talk about.
  
• Desktop Search would be great! - How often do I want to send something and cannot find it ...

Mobile features - Competitors try it but it can be done better!

Many features are just missing

• Call real telefons
• VoiceMail
• Ability to interoperate with other messenger plattforms - Hopefully comming soon!
  

There is still a lot to do!
