Yet another Google product?
Gdrive stores all your information online but do you want that?
GMX and many other ISPs offer webdrives for their clients in case of GMX 1GB which is not too bad.
If you have a GMX email account:
- Use your favourite WebDAV client
- Go to https://mediacenter.gmx.net/ within the WebDAV folder url input box (important: it is gmx.net, not gmx.de!)
- Provide your user name and password you use to login at gmx: e.g. @gmx.de
- Press OK
Of course, I you have concerns about the security of your data stored on some third party's system there are two simple solutions:
1. Nobody forces you to use it! (Strange enough, most people seem to overlook this option.)
2. Use steganography of cryptography to protect your data. - This is probably a good idea with any sensitive data wheter it is on your local harddrive or on the web.
The thing I realy do not understand is that everybody sends very sensitive and confidential information by email which actually is stored on an email server usually controled by a third party.
